Flux is a macOS log explorer for Graylog, Elasticsearch (through Kibana) and the log files on your Mac. It looks and works like a JetBrains IDE: your streams and endpoints are a tree on the left, each one opens its own console and result grid, and everything you open stays open while you look elsewhere. A search box treats logs as one flat river of text. Flux keeps the structure that matters — which connection, which stream, which endpoint — and builds on it:

Explain a spike

Drag across a spike with ⌥ held and Flux tells you which version, service or host it comes from.

Trace an ID

Paste a request, trace or user id and read its story across every stream, in order.

Watch a query

Be told when new matches arrive, or when a cron or a webhook goes quiet.

Hand it to Claude Code

Flux is an MCP server: an agent in your terminal reads your logs with Flux’s own tools.
Flux runs on your Mac and talks to your sources directly. Your logs, connections and tokens never leave it; only your preferences sync with your account. See Where your data lives.
